Daughters of the Revolution, Good Citizens Scholarship - February 15, 2018
Amount:  up to $5,000
Who:  Any high school senior
Major:  any
Academic Requirements: submit a high school transcript.
Recommendations:  Include two letters of recommendation--one from a community leader and one from a school faculty.
Essay:  Must write a essay in the presence of a DAR or school official. (See scholarship link below for details.)  Also must express your future plans and career goals.  Explain why you are a good citizen.
Community Involvement/School Activities:  List high school activities and describe your community involvement.

Joseph L. and Vivian E. Steele Architecture Scholarship-Deadline February 15
Amount: Varies
Who: Students who are present or former residents of one of the following Pennsylvania counties: Dauphin, Cumberland, York, Perry, Franklin, Lebanon, Adams, Fulton, Juniata, Lancaster, Montour, Snyder, Bedford, Blair, Centre, Clinton, Huntingdon, Mifflin, Union, or Northumberland, and studying in the final three years of a Bachelor of Architecture program OR in a graduate program leading to a Master of Architecture degree.

Who:  African American female high school senior currently enrolled in the Greater Harrisburg Schools.  Must plan to attend a two or four year college

Academic Requirements:  Submit official high school transcript.
Letters of Recommendation:  Submit recommendation form from a high school official, church, or community leader.
Essay:  Write a 300 word speech about your growth and accomplishments during the past fours years of college.  Include your plans for the future.

Other:  Must submit photograph.  Must provide financial information.
